Tilbury as a Cruise Port

Tilbury as a Cruise Port

The Port of Tilbury (aka Tilbury Docks) is on the River Thames, on the opposite bank to Gravesend, and is home to the London Cruise Terminal, which is London’s only purpose-built deep water cruise cruise facility. Situated just 22 miles down river from Tower Bridge, Tilbury is within a one hour drive of Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and London City airports.

There are regular trains from London Fenchurch Street, which stop at Tilbury Town station, and taxis are available to take you the mile to the Cruise terminal. Alternatively rail passengers can use the free shuttle bus which runs from Tilbury Town station to the ‘Tilbury to Gravesend’ ferry, which is situated right next to the cruise terminal.

There is parking near the cruise terminal, and we can book the parking for you when we book the cruise through us. Alternatively there are often special coaches laid on from Victoria Coach station to the Cruise Terminal to tie in with cruises, and we can book this for you when we book your cruise for you.
