The Main is a major tributary of the Rhine, and flows through Germany. Although it is well over 300 miles long, only about 240 miles is navigable, between Bamberg and Mainz. The Main joins the Rhine, and the Danube via the Main-Danube Canal. Places you can visit include Frankfurt, Offenbach, Wertheim and Wurzburg.
