Caledonian Canal

The Caledonian Canal flows right across Scotland, connecting the North Atlantic and the North Sea. It starts at Corpach near Fort William, and makes its way through Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, before flowing into the Moray Firth near Inverness. There are a total of 29 locks, 4 aqueducts and 10 bridges during the full transit.

The companies we use which offer cruises on the Caledonian Canal include Great Rail Journeys and European Waterways.
