In October 2015 I was on Ventura with my family enjoying a relaxing cruise. When we went to the theatre each evening we sat near the front, so that our grandchildren could see better. On this particular night we we in the middle of the front row, while watching a great ventriloquist called Gareth Oliver, who many people will have seen on Britain’s Got Talent.

In the early part of the show he chose my wife and grandson for his puppets to ‘talk to’, and it was very funny to watch. However, he then decided to choose me to be his next puppet! By the time I had got on the stage he knew that I had been married to Ellena for 33 years, had 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren, and sold cruises for a living as GoCruise with Ian. Sit back, relax, and have a good laugh!
